- Title: Tidy
- Version: 1.0 Patchlevel 1
- Description: tidy - Tidy up log file(s) created by syslogd
- and do statistics on it
- Tidy cleans up the file created by the syslogd daemon.
- For a system operator it is a bothersome job to sort out the
- interesting (sometimes alarming) entries from a pile of
- standard entries. Statistics are performed on the
- removed entries and can be printed as ASCII or HTML.
- Tidy recognizes different services (e.g. in.telnetd), is
- versatile and easy to configure.
